Something to keep in mind when you own a car and your brake lights start acting weird:

In many cars there exists Relay switches that work and can go haywire.. causing weird problems like one tail light to work and not the other, and then mysteriously both can work if you don’t turn on the headlights. Needless to say I spent some time today learning about automotive electrical wiring and lighting  and how the circuits are run. The reason: well one of my tail lights went out and I (being logical) replaced it and found that it still didn’t work when the lights were on but did work when the lights were off (e.g. if I was daytime driving…my brake lights worked, if it is night… they didn’t light up but they did glow red).

As I said… weird and goofy things that one doesn’t consider until it actually happens.
