Going at the speed of business

Today is the day that I received in the mail a part I ordered for a month ago.
Dell finally located a keyboard in their warehouse for an old Inspiron 1525. It took them forever to dig around and find one but they did it and shipped it out.

So after a quick swap out the laptop looks and feels younger.

Simply put, the future of IT will be in one of two directions: disposable computing (negating the point of repairing) or refurbishment (the decline of global living standards results in the reuse and repair of everything, eg. Cuba and the embargo).

My hope is for the former but I am prepared for the latter.
