Software Review : F.lux

leave a comment »

I recently tested a new piece of software called F.lux and created a quick video of what it is all about.

F.lux is a screen brightness and color modification program designed to help you cope with and alleviate the effects of monitor brightness on eye problems and sleep/wake cycles. Granted I make no long term claims (and ignore the video claims I’ve stated as those were simply what I noticed, you may or may not notice anything at all or your eyes may even get worse.) and I recommend you use this at your own risk and liability as I will not be held responsible for you not being able to make your own decisions in your own best interest.

That being said, the video is below, I’ve used the program and still will continue to use it to gauge its’ utility for my personal use over the long term.

This post was technically written on the 27th around midnight and thus, the stated time in the video and the time this blog is uploaded will differ.

Check it out and see for yourself, the program can be found here.
